Peter Cushing, and the Calendar Girls

This is the true story about one of the strangest things that has ever personally happened to me. The odds of this incident must be 10 billion to 1.

Prepare to be amazed, but not as much as I was on that fateful day.

Staring at the screen in bewilderment, I actually couldn’t believe what I was seeing in front of me.

After several minutes of excitable laughing and pointing at the TV screen, I discovered something extra special…

Inside the book there is also a handwritten message,

“Tony, From Puckie. With heaps of love. Christmas, 1986”.

I strongly believe that ‘Puckie’ could be Peter Cushing’s nickname amongst his good friends, and this book was given to Tony by him as a gift.

I literally have no more words to describe this slightly unbelievable, but truly coincidental story. You had to be there; me dancing around the room like a loon. It still blows my mind to this day. Just waiting for it to go viral, and for someone to pick up the book/film rights. Enquire within.

p.s. Jake Gyllenhaal (with glasses) can play my character.
